Krish Yadav’s 85 Powers West Delhi Lions to Narrow Win Over Central Delhi Kings

West Delhi Lions won the 29th match of the Delhi Premier League 2025 (DPL). The team defeated Central Delhi Kings by a close margin of three runs in the match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday. West Delhi Lions, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 178 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted overs.

Krish Yadav scored 85 runs off 60 balls with four sixes and eight fours, while Hrithik was dismissed after scoring 20 runs. Additionally, Ravneet Tanwar played a powerful innings of 38 runs in 12 balls. Grewal took the most wickets for the opposition team with three, while Arun Pundir and Pranshu Vijayran took two wickets each.

In response, Central Delhi Kings scored only 175 runs for six wickets in the allotted overs. Siddharth June returned to the pavilion after scoring just 1 run, after which Yash Dhul shared a 40-run partnership for the second wicket with Yugal Saini (11).
The team had lost two wickets by the score of 46. From there, Yash tried to lead the team by making a 79-run partnership for the third wicket with captain Jonty Sidhu. Yash Dhul was out after scoring 72 runs off 49 balls with one six and 12 fours, while Jonty scored 56 runs in 41 balls. Additionally, Aditya Bhandari contributed 23 runs to the team's total but couldn't secure the win for Kings. From the opposition, Nitish Rana, Anirudh Chaudhary, Shivank Vashisht, and Shubham Dubey each took one wicket.
