Korea's Hyung-min Son sets a record in football

South Korean player Hyung-Min Son of the Tottenham team has set a new record in England's top tier league i.e. EPL (English Premier League). After Saturday's late match, Son became the first Asian player to score 100 goals in the Premier League.
Son's Tottenham took on Brighton in the English Premier League late on Saturday night. Tottenham won 2–1. In the same match, Son scored in the 10th minute. Son dedicated his 100th league goal to his late grandfather. Harry Kane scored the second goal in the 79th minute.
Son, playing in his 260th Premier League match, now has 100 goals, equaling Mathieu Le Tissier's tally. Overall, he is the 34th player to score 100 or more goals in the Premier League. Son scored his seventh Premier League goal this season. Overall, he has scored 142 goals in 364 games for Tottenham. In the current season, he has scored 11 goals in 39 matches.
With this, Son became the second player in Tottenham's history to score the most goals for the team in the Premier League. He has 206 goals to his name.
After the match, Son said that scoring 100 goals in the Premier League is a big deal. I was really emotional as I have had tough days in the last few weeks. Recently my grandfather passed away and it was not easy for me to go through it. I dedicate today's goal to him.
Son continued – This is a good thing for Asia and I take a huge responsibility to be a good example to help the youth. I want them to believe that an Asian player can do amazing things in the Premier League.
