Kawasaki Ninja 7 hybrid bike unveiled, know all the details before launch

Kawasaki has officially introduced the Ninja 7 HEV in the global market. It is not yet clear whether it will be launched in the Indian market or not. Kawasaki says this is the world's first mass-produced strong hybrid motorcycle. The new motorcycle will be available for sale in the UK from April 2024. Come, let us know about it.

To power the Ninja 7 Hybrid, a brand new 451 cc parallel-twin engine has been installed, which is water-cooled. It also has a 48 V lithium-ion battery pack, which powers a 9 kW traction motor. Its combined power output is 60 bhp and with the e-Boost function, it is increased to 69 bhp.

Of the 60 bhp, 48 are generated from the engine and 12 from the electric motor. The Japanese brand claims that the Ninja 7 falls in the 650cc-700cc segment in overall terms, but its fuel efficiency is like that of a 250cc bike.

At present, the brand has not revealed the complete details of the bike. However, it will be given features like idle stop function and walk mode. Let us tell you that Walk Mode provides low-speed reverse and forward functions. The bike also has three riding modes – EV, Eco Hybrid, and Sport Hybrid. Its full-color TFT screen is taken from the Ninja E-1.

The price of the new Kawasaki Ninja 7 has not been released yet and bookings are likely to start early next year. Deliveries for the European market are expected to begin from April 2024. As told to you, the company has not made any announcement regarding its launch in India.
