Rahul Dravid Becomes Dublin Guardians Owner, European T20 Premier League: The European T20 Premier League is a league where franchises from other countries will also participate. The ICC has given it the green light.

Indian former skipper and coach Rahul Dravid is now the owner of Dublin franchise in the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). ETPL had unveiled its six team franchises in an event and introduced their respective owners. The other owners include Faf Du Plessis, Steve Waugh, Glenn Maxwell, Kyle Mills, and Chris Gayle apart from Dravid.
Rahul Dravid expressed his delight at joining the ETPL, saying, "The concept of this league impressed me the most. This league can be a great platform for promoting cricket in Europe and providing opportunities for new talent. Strengthening cricket at the grassroots level and nurturing young players has always been important to him. Dublin has a strong passion for cricket, and there is immense potential for the sport's growth. I am confident that the ETPL will help give cricket a new identity in Europe in the future."
Former Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin is expected to play in this league. Most importantly, he will captain Rahul Dravid's team, the Dublin Guardians. This team will play against teams from Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. Ashwin has retired from international cricket and the IPL.
