Virat Kohli Creates History With 14,000 T20 Runs During Match-Winning Knock
RCB vs KKR Highlights: Virat Kohli led RCB to a resounding victory with a match-winning unbeaten 105 against KKR. During this, he completed 14,000 runs in T20 cricket and set several major records.

Virat Kohli scored an outstanding century in the 57th match of IPL 2026 season. In his encounter with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), he scored an unbeaten 105 in just 60 balls, consisting of 11 fours and 3 sixes. The inning made him set some amazing records and score 14,000 runs in the Twenty20 format, setting himself up to be the fastest to reach the mark.
His inning was extremely damaging to KKR as not only did they lose this particular match but their playoff hopes were also severely damaged by the batsman. At one point in time, Virat Kohli almost played a shot for nothing. While batting first, KKR posted 192 runs in 20 overs. Chasing a target of 193, RCB suffered their first setback at 37. Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli then shared a 92-run partnership, virtually ending KKR's hopes of victory.
However, RCB could have suffered a second setback at 59 when Virat Kohli, off Kartik Tyagi, played a shot towards mid-off but the catch was dropped. At the time, Kohli was batting on 13 runs from 12 balls. After the dropped catch, Kohli hit a six off the very next ball and never looked back. Kohli completed his century in 59 balls and remained unbeaten, helping RCB win the match by 6 wickets.
