According to the data, exports declined by 2.6 percent to US $ 34.47 billion from US $ 35.39 billion in the same period a year ago.
Imports have also decreased in September. According to the data, imports last month fell by 15 percent to US $ 53.84 billion as against US $ 63.37 billion in the same period a year ago.
