Team India gave a strong performance in its last match of the group stage in the 2023 World Cup on Sunday. The Netherlands bowlers had no success against the Indian batsmen. Batting first, India scored a huge score of 410/4. Rohit Sharma's team is still maintaining its unbeaten streak in the World Cup.

India's top 3 batsmen scored 50 plus against the Netherlands. Whereas, Shreyas Iyer (128*) and KL Rahul (102) played century innings. Both of them scored their first century in this World Cup. The bowlers performed strongly. 9 bowlers bowled for India. Kohli and Rohit also got wickets.

India broke its own record after 20 years. India won 9 consecutive matches after the 2003 World Cup. In the year 2003, India had won 8 consecutive matches. This time the World Cup was won for the 9th consecutive time. Australia has won the World Cup twice and 11 consecutive matches. The Kangaroo team has done this in the years 2003 and 2007.

The kind of form India is in, it will try its best to break Australia's record. India will now face New Zealand in the first semi-final match to be played at Wankhede. India would also like to avenge the defeat in the 2019 World Cup semi-finals.
