Hyundai has sold its vehicles in several segments in the Indian market. In the SUV segment, the manufacturer also sells the Hyundai Tucson. However, this SUV has been removed from the manufacturer's website lately. Has sales of this SUV been discontinued or not?

Hyundai's official website shows all the cars offered in India, which include the Grand i10 and the Ioniq, but very recently, the Hyundai Tucson SUV was taken off from the website of the manufacturer.

While this has not been formally announced by the company, there is a possibility that the manufacturer might pull back sales of this SUV in India. Ahead of this, the manufacturer has taken the SUV off its website.

According to reports, even though the manufacturer has removed this SUV from its website, dealers who still have remaining units of this SUV will be able to sell them.

The manufacturer offers many excellent features in this SUV. This SUV includes a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera, multiple driving modes, a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a Bose 10-speaker audio system, ABS, EBD, airbags, TPMS, hill hold assist, and Level-2 ADAS.

Hyundai offers a 2-liter petrol engine in this SUV. This gives it 154 bhp of power and 193 Nm of torque. With a two-liter diesel engine, this SUV produces 189 bhp of power and 416 Nm of torque. It is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The first-generation Tucson was launched in India by Hyundai in 2005. The fourth generation was introduced in 2022. In India, this SUV is offered with several petrol and diesel engine options, including a 4WD option.

In the Indian market, this SUV competes directly with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV 700 and Jeep Meridian.
