Gurgaon CEO paid Rs 45,000 as electricity bill; candles are the only option now, says CEO

Heatwave has now turned into a major liability in monetary form too, resulting in paying 45,000 Rs as an electricity bill for 2 months. Jasveer Singh, co-founder of the Join Hood app, brought a sort of 'fear' to the overuse of electrical appliances. He shared a screenshot of the bill payment on social media and witnessed numerous thoughts of people facing the same issue. 

The post was shared on Twitter on June 23 and had 1.2 million views and 104k likes. This is the untold reality of metropolises, where the price of high-cost living is high. Over the years, solar was the one way, and now burning candles can be one. Today, every individual is struggling to live a life of dreams, which has become an illusion nowadays. Many users came over social media and commented, 

'Meanwhile, I am  struggling to pay my 2,000 bill', 'switch to solar, 'minimize electricity consumption, or ready to pay'. These comments in the media showed the real difficulties a common person faces in running a house. 

The summer season has not ended yet, and the increasing heatwave can be a major problem for 'common people' to sustain and live their lives. The overconsumption of ACs is leading to these types of 'electricity bills'.
