Government will start lucky draw to stop GST evasion, will get reward of up to 1 crore for uploading bill
GST Lucky Draw Scheme: Mera Bill Mera Adhikar scheme is to be launched soon by the government. Under this, a reward of up to one crore will be given under the lucky draw on uploading the invoices received from retailers and wholesalers on the mobile app. For this, mobile app will also be launched on iOS and Android platforms.
Customers will be given rewards for uploading the GST Invoice on the mobile app soon by the government. This is because the government is going to start the 'Mera Bill Mera Adhikar' scheme soon. Under this scheme, customers will be given a reward of up to one crore.
Two officials told PTI that under this invoice incentive scheme, monthly and quarterly basis cash prizes of Rs 10 lakh and up to Rs 1 crore will be given to customers for uploading invoices received from retailers and wholesalers on the app.
Mera Bill Mera Adhikar mobile app will soon be available on iOS and Android platforms. All invoices that will be uploaded on this app should have the GST number of the seller. Along with this, the invoice number, bill amount and tax paid should be mentioned.
