Mavibai Vagri, 70 years, was a victim of a mental ailment. He had gone missing near Vadodara in Gujarat and was found to be admitted to an ashram situated in the Palghar district of Nalasopara on September 14. Volunteers and staff of Jeevan Anand Sanstha-an NGO that works towards the rehabilitation of people sought information from the local police by conducting a Google search on the name Vagri and then searched for his family members. This is how Vagri could meet his family the next day i.e. on 15 September.
Similarly, the organization got another lost person to the government who got reunited with his family-70-year-old tribal woman Padi Goma Bhukare, who had gone missing from Panvel area of Navi Mumbai. Bhukare had boarded by mistake a Mumbai bus at the place where she had met with a severe accident. Grinded in such a situation, she was given treatment and then on September 14 night, she spent the night in the ashram.
During this, the organization did a Google search and tried to find out his information. During this, the Sarpanch of Bhukare village and his family members were informed about this. Here let us tell you that the disappearance of both the missing persons was reported by their families. In such a situation, when the identity and photo of both were being circulated through the social media platform WhatsApp only then both of them were able to reach their respective families.
