Former Australian PM Tony Abbott meets Nadda: Conversation at BJP HQ as part of 'Know BJP' campaign

Former Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott met with BJP President JP Nadda in Delhi on Saturday. The meeting took place at the BJP headquarters under the 'BJP Ko Jano' campaign. Tony Abbott is an Australian politician belonging to the Liberal Party.
He has served as a member of the Australian House of Representatives (1994–2019). He was the Prime Minister of Australia from 2013 to 2015. He also held the position of Leader of the Opposition from 2009–2013.
Earlier, Vijay Chauthwala, in charge of BJP's foreign affairs department, told that this event is in continuation of BJP President Nadda's 'Know BJP' initiative, so that maximum information about BJP can be given to foreign people. The initiative was launched by the BJP chief on the party's foundation day in April last year.
The party strengthens its bilateral ties with various countries through the 'BJP Ko Jano' initiative. At the same time, it tries to inform the world about its ideology and methodology.
Earlier on January 27, JP Nadda interacted with Delhi University students as part of the 'Know BJP Ko Jano' initiative at the party headquarters in the national capital. He introduced the students to BJP's ideology, principles, mission and work culture. Nadda discussed the work culture of BJP with the students and said that the BJP governments at the Center and in the states are dedicated to the empowerment and welfare of all sections of the society, especially the villagers and farmers, Dalits and tribals, youth and women, backward and downtrodden Are.
Nadda said that the nine years of the Narendra Modi government were full of achievements. The government is dedicated to the service of all communities, good governance and welfare and empowerment of the poorest of the poor. Nadda also told the students about how BJP works and how the party acts as an important bridge between the government and the people of the country.
