Jaishankar, apart from its other senior members Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Hardeep Singh Puri are likely to be part of the new government. After meeting with the potential ministers over tea in the morning, Modi also addressed them.

Amid reports of BJP National General Secretary Bandi Sanjay Kumar joining the Union Council of Ministers, his family has expressed happiness. Also, the family has thanked the leaders and workers of the BJP party. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take oath for the third consecutive time today (Sunday) along with the members of his Council of Ministers.

Speaking to reporters at Kumar's residence in Karimnagar, his wife Aparna said that this would be the best moment of her life. He said, "We are all very happy and thank everyone. We thank the BJP party leaders and workers. It is because of everyone's hard work and prayers that we are here. We are seeing this day only with the blessings of Mata Rani. We are very blessed to have this day. I think this is the best moment of our life."

Other members of Kumar's family are pleased and appreciate the BJP and Prime Minister Modi for providing them with this opportunity.

According to sources, the outgoing government's Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, as well as its other senior members Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, and Hardeep Singh Puri, are expected to join the new government.

After meeting with the potential ministers over tea in the morning, Modi addressed them. According to an official video, some 65 ministers are expected to take the oath.
