Explosion at Marble Factory Near India-Pakistan Border Sparks Panic on Diwali Night
Explosion in Jaisalmer on Diwali night: On Diwali night, a powerful explosion occurred at a marble factory in the RICO industrial area near the India-Pakistan border. A hole was created in the tin shed, and the bomb-like object that fell had the inscription "51 mm" written on it. A parachute was also found with it.
During Diwali night, an explosion suddenly erupted at a factory that produced marble and was situated in the RICO industrial complex along the India-Pakistan border. The stillness of the night was disrupted, and panic ensued in the locality for a brief moment.
Arjundas, who works at the factory, said he had heard a big explosion last night on Monday. He believed a Diwali rocket had gone off. He noticed there was a hole in the tin shed above him and something that was on fire had come crashing down. The worker put out the fire and slept.
When he opened it in the morning, he discovered a heavy bomb-like device on the ground, complete with a 51 mm shell. And it had I.L.L.G. printed on it. A parachute was also on the ground. Seeing this, the worker got scared and immediately informed the factory owner.
On receiving the information, Kotwali police officer Premdan Ratanu along with his team reached the spot. The area was cordoned off and investigation was started. The bomb-like object was secured and the army was informed. Army experts are now investigating the nature of the object and the reason for its fall.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that this object could possibly be a shell material used for lighting. But this has not been confirmed yet.
