ED reaches Kejriwal's office in liquor scam: summons CM's PA and inquires into the matter

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) probe into the Delhi liquor policy scam has reached Kejriwal's office. The ED interrogated Kejriwal's PA Vibhav Kumar on Thursday after sending a notice to him.
According to reports, Vibhav has been questioned by the ED regarding Kumar destroying the phone used in the scam. It is being told that 36 accused used 170 phones to hide the scam worth thousands of crores and later destroyed them. Through this phone, the ED is trying to reach out to the perpetrators of the scam by sending liquor mafia even before the draft of the Excise Policy is implemented.
The ED had in January filed a supplementary charge sheet against five persons besides seven companies in the money laundering case related to the alleged liquor policy scam. Sisodia's name also does not figure in the second charge sheet filed by the agency. Sisodia has been named in the FIR lodged in the case.
Vijay Nair, Sharat Reddy, Binay Babu, Abhishek Bonpalli and Amit Arora have been named as accused in the supplementary charge sheet filed in the court of Special Judge MK Nagpal of Rouse Avenue Court.
Deputy CM Sisodia is also an accused in this case. The ED is yet to file a chargesheet against Sisodia in this case but has said that the investigation is still on. This policy was cancelled after allegations of financial irregularities in the excise policy were made.
