Delhi captain Ayush Badoni will feature in the Ranji Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh on Saturday at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium. Badoni has been named in the Indian A team for the India A versus South Africa A match.

According to information received, "The reporting date for players from outside Bengaluru for India A's first match is October 28th. The second round of the Ranji Trophy concludes on that day. This means that Badoni can finish the match and then travel to Bengaluru to join the India A team."

Badoni played for Delhi in the first match of the season against Hyderabad. He scored 53 runs in the first innings and took six wickets in the match. The match was drawn. Badoni has performed well this season. He scored 63, 204 not out, and 40 for North Zone in the Duleep Trophy.

He then scored 21 for India A in the first four-day match against Australia A in Lucknow, and scored 50 and 21 in two limited-overs matches in Kanpur, along with taking three wickets. Badoni's inclusion in the Delhi team for the match against Himachal Pradesh will strengthen the team's batting and bowling.

Rishabh Pant will not join the Delhi team for the match against Himachal Pradesh. According to reports, Rishabh Pant has been in the CoE since mid-September for his recovery process. He has been named India A's captain for the two Test matches against South Africa A. Pant's participation in India A's matches at the CoE would be a better option to assess his match fitness and preparation.

Delhi gained three points from the match drawn against Hyderabad. Delhi was given three points for having a first-innings lead. Sanat Sangwan and Ayush Doseja got double centuries for Delhi. Sangwan played an unbeaten 211 off 470 balls, and Doseja scored 209 off 279 balls.
