On Tuesday, the service of OpenAI's AI chatbot ChatGPT was reported to be down globally, due to which millions of ChatGPT users in many countries are unable to use it. According to PTI, the most disruptions have been reported in India and the United States.

Per the real-time tracking website Downdetector, users began reporting ChatGPT outages from approximately 3:00 pm. On the website, there were approximately 800 complaints.

88 percent of the complaints contained the criticism that the chatbot is not responding appropriately to the questions posed by users. Meanwhile, 8 percent of users reported app-related issues on the mobile app, and 3 percent reported API-related problems.

When asking questions to ChatGPT, users repeatedly saw the message "Something has gone wrong". Many people reported that when asking questions to ChatGPT, a message of error message was seen in the network. Some people were instructed to try again.

At the same time, OpenAI acknowledged the outage on its system status page, confirming that both ChatGPT and its text-to-video platform Sora were affected.

OpenAI said, "ChatGPT is showing some users errors, while some users are getting delayed answers. We are continuing to investigate this issue." However, the company did not give any time frame for fixing the outage.
