PM will meet economists and experts to know their views on the budget, these people will also be present

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet eminent economists and sector experts to know their views on the budget and to know their views and suggestions for the upcoming budget. A senior government official gave this information on Monday. Apart from economists and sectoral experts, NITI Aayog Vice Chairman Suman Beri and other members of NITI Aayog will also attend the meeting.

The Budget 2025-26 is scheduled to be presented in Lok Sabha on February 1, 2025, by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and equity markets will function that day. In 2001, the presentation time of Budget was changed to 11 am from 5 pm, post which the opening time of the stock exchanges has always been as on any other working day.
