Go4Explore Participates in Delhi's Tourism Stakeholders Conference 2026, as the Capital Charts Its Course from Transit Hub to Destination City
Go4Explore joined 200 industry leaders, policymakers, and allied sector representatives at The Ashok Hotel for a landmark conference organised by the Government of NCT of Delhi and Delhi Tourism — a defining moment in India's capital city reclaiming its place on the global tourism map.
Go4Explore is delighted to have been part of the 200 stakeholders at the Tourism Stakeholders Conference 2026 held by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi in collaboration with Delhi Tourism. The conference, conducted at the iconic Ashok Hotel in New Delhi, was attended by a cross-section of Government officers, industry leaders and allied sector representatives who all shared one goal, to make Delhi a place to experience rather than just transit.
The conference was called with a definite double purpose: to inform the audience of the Government of Delhi's vision for the future of tourism and to get hands-on, actionable policy recommendations from the stakeholders that are on the frontlines of the industry. What emerged was a rich and honest discussion, one that transcended aspirations toward to a thoughtful and intentional planning process.
The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt Rekha Gupta. Set the tone for the day with an ambitious and grounded vision. She pointed out that Delhi has always been a city that sets the culture and through organised collaborations, policy support, and a newfound sense of purpose, the capital will now be firmly on the global tourism map. In her speech, it was clear that tourism has come from the sidelines and is now a fundamental part of the growth story of Delhi. It is at the core of it.
"Delhi has always been a city that shapes culture. Through structured partnerships and policy support, it will now be positioned strongly on the global tourism map."
— Smt. Rekha Gupta, Chief Minister of Delhi
Mr Kapil Mishra, Hon'ble Tourism Minister and Chairman of DTTDC added a fresh, marketing acumen to the proceedings. He noted that Delhi has always been a city that has been hospitable to the travelers, but today's India must actively market it, make it experience and remember it, and not just pass through it. He stressed the importance of the tourism industry serving both visitors and citizens and that the collaboration of various stakeholders would be the driving force in achieving the transformation.
Mr. Suneel Anchipaka, Managing Director of Delhi Tourism, shared some practical and pragmatic inputs on how the public and private sector can collaborate to create a future-ready tourism ecosystem. His message, that actual change occurs by actual collaboration, was a very strong message in alignment with the values that Go4Explore embraces in how we approach the industry.
This conference is a moment of real synergy for Go4Explore. Delhi, with its millennia of stacked history, its extremely plural culture, its food, its festivals, and its shifting energy has always been one of the world's great undiscovered destinations for the company. The government is in agreement that this is their vision, and is developing the policy architecture to make it a reality.
Go4Explore is dedicated to becoming a part of this journey, an active partner to make Delhi a world class city. Its commitment to this change is reflected in its ability to offer engaging city experiences and its support of policy priorities established during the conference.
