Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress reaches Maharashtra

Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Maharashtra on Monday for the 61st day. This yatra will last for 14 days in Maharashtra. This journey from Kamareddy in Telangana reached Maharashtra from Deglur in the Nanded district in Maharashtra at around 9 pm. Rahul Gandhi will address rallies on number 10 in Nanded district and on November 18 at Shegaon in Buldhana. This journey of Rahul Gandhi in 14 days will come to Madhya Pradesh on November 20, covering 15 assembly and 6 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra.
On the border of both states, Telangana Congress President Revanth Reddy, and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole handed over the national flag. The Maharashtra Congress welcomed the visit to the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Kalamandir in Deglur in the state.
Congress sources said that Telangana Congress organized a public meeting to bid farewell to the yatris at Menuru village of Madanoor Mandal of Jukkal constituency this evening. Revanth Reddy said on Sunday that we have found 'Bharat Jodo Yatra' very successful in Telangana and got huge support from the people in the state. Farmers, activists, and intellectuals all took part in this yatra and showed their solidarity with Rahul Gandhi.
Today was the 12th day of the Bharat Jodi Yatra in Telangana. There was also a four-day rest in the Telangana leg of the yatra. According to party sources, Telangana was scheduled to go through 19 assembly constituencies and seven parliamentary constituencies. A journey of 375 km has been done before entering Maharashtra. After the welcome, the yatra will resume on Monday night during which the pedestrians will carry the unity torch.
National Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar will join the Bharat Jodo Yatra on November 8. However, Sharad Pawar will travel less than a mile with Rahul due to illness. At the same time, there is doubt about the participation of Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray and his son, former minister Aaditya Thackeray in the yatra. Many leaders including Maharashtra veteran Balasaheb Thorat, Bhai Jagtap, and Ashok Chavan will participate in the yatra.
Congress has made tremendous preparations to make the Yatra a success in Maharashtra. The party has appealed to people belonging to different sectors across the state to join them. Congress workers have left Mumbai by road, rail and air to welcome Rahul Gandhi. All hotels, lodges and Dharamsala etc. have been booked for their stay.
Union Minister Smriti Irani has taken a jibe at Congress's India Jodo Yatra. He said that ever since I sent Rahul Gandhi from Amethi, he has been running.
