September 16: Shivangi Ruperee, a technologist and an ingenious writer who focuses on real-life inspired stories have recently penned down a book, ‘Through Lemons & Peaches’. It is a light-hearted and phenomenal story of a young girl who is on her way to discovering her dreams while realizing new emotions through evolving phases of her life.
The story revolves around Anushka’s journey to find herself and build the life she envisions as she travels across India and modern Europe. Initially, as a teenager, she derived her happiness and self-worth through achieving her career goals, but as she grows up to become a young adult, she begins to transcend them in search of love. This interesting interplay of chasing dreams and her quest for love evolves her character and personality along the way.
She experiences varied emotions and challenges for the first time and learns to differentiate between her feelings in the process, gradually learning to remain true to the promises she made to her 15-year-old self.
