Amidst The Discussion About Pilot Being Made CM, Legislature Party Meeting Postponed

The internal crisis of the Congress in Rajasthan has increased significantly. Amidst the discussion of Sachin Pilot being made the Chief Minister, MLAs supporting Ashok Gehlot have also rallied. Earlier more than sixty MLAs were present with Minister Shantilal Dhariwal. After this, more than 90 MLAs have come to meet Speaker CP Joshi, announcing their resignations. These MLAs are pressurizing to retain Ashok Gehlot as the Chief Minister.

According to sources, these MLAs have not reached the legislature party meeting. It is being told that after this development, the meeting of the legislature party has been postponed. Earlier, on the instructions of the Congress High Command at the Chief Minister's residence, observer Mallikarjun Kharge and the General Secretary in charge had called a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party at 7 pm.

Since the announcement of Ashok Gehlot to contest for the post of Congress President, there is a lot of speculation about his continuation as CM. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has recently said that the post of President is an important responsibility. No leader can hold two important positions at the same time. Since then, questions were being raised that if Gehlot becomes the president of the party, then who will be the new CM of Rajasthan?

The process to decide the name of the Chief Minister of the state also started today. For this, a meeting of the legislature party was called in the evening. Some MLAs supporting the government including Congress were called. State in-charge Ajay Maken and senior leader Mallikarjun Kharge also came to Jaipur to attend the meeting. Both leaders have been made observers. Both these leaders were going to talk to the MLAs and discuss with them the candidates for the post of Chief Minister.

So far, the names of two leaders have come to the fore for the post of Chief Minister. Sachin Pilot is being considered for this post at number one and CP Joshi on the second. The biggest problem before Pilot is that Gehlot is being told against his becoming the CM. He has suggested the name of Speaker CP Joshi to the high command.

Here, before the meeting of the Congress Legislature Party, the MLAs of the Gehlot faction have become active. The pro-Gehlot MLAs held another meeting before the legislature party meeting. A big meeting was held at the residence of Minister Shanti Dhariwal. During this, a strategy was made regarding the CM candidate.

Meanwhile, Pratap Singh Khachariyawas said that all the MLAs are angry and are resigning. We are going to the President for this. The MLAs are upset that how CM Ashok Gehlot can take a decision without consulting him. The government has not fallen. If the head of our family (Ashok Gehlot) listens to us, the resentment will go away. Democracy runs on numbers. With whom the MLAs of Rajasthan will be, the leader will be the same. More than 100 MLAs are on one side and 10-15 MLAs are on one side. The voice of 10-15 MLAs will be heard and the rest will not. The party does not listen to us, decisions are taken automatically.
