Aadhar number will be available along with birth certificate: Scheme will be implemented soon

The government is planning to give an Aadhar number to the child along with the birth. Under this, both documents will be available simultaneously, an Aadhar number as well as a birth certificate. Soon this scheme will be implemented across the country. According to media reports, parents will have to link the information related to biometric data with Aadhaar when the child turns 5 years old, as the biometrics of children below 5 years of age cannot be taken.
According to the information, before the age of 15, the child's information will have to be updated on the Aadhar card. Official sources said that the exact number of babies who have been enrolled in the last few months along with birth certificates is not available. For this reason, it is being considered to implement this scheme soon.
Officials said that 134 crore Aadhaar cards have been issued so far. Assam and Meghalaya are the states where the entire population has not yet received a unique ID. Even in remote areas of Ladakh and Nagaland, the population is not fully enrolled. We are trying to reach these parts of the country at the earliest.
He told that last year 20 crore requests were received. Of these, only four crores were for new Aadhaar, the rest were for update requests. After this, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) decided to ask for updated information on Aadhaar holders.
Officials earlier this week urged people to update their Aadhaar card if it is more than 10 years old. He says that in the last several years, many Aadhaar holders have shifted to new places, while many people have changed their mobile numbers. For this reason, it is very important to have the correct information.
The updation can be done online through the mAadhaar app or can also be done by visiting the Aadhaar centres. A fee of Rs 25 will have to be paid for online and Rs 50 for updated information by visiting the center. Apart from this, camps will also be organized at ration shops. For this, preparations are being made at the state level.
The Aaadhar card is an essential document. It has a 12-unique identification number. Aadhar number is asked for taking benefit of the government scheme till admission of the child. Aadhar card contains information ranging from your name, address and phone number to fingerprint. This facility was introduced in January 2009, when UIDAI was established.
