Heeraben Modi, mother of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was admitted to the hospital after last night's health emergency. In a hurry, the prime minister headed to Ahmedabad.
Heeraben Modi, who turned 99 this year in June, was recently taken to an Ahmedabad hospital. Her status is stable, according to a statement from the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center. Other details have not been disclosed by the hospital.
