8th edition of Raisina Dialogue from today: PM Modi will inaugurate, 100 countries will participate in the 3-day conference, Prime Minister of Italy Chief Guest
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 8th edition of the Raisina Dialogue today. This program will be organized from March 2 to March 4 at the Taj Hotel in New Delhi. Italy's Prime Minister Giorgio Miloni will attend the event as the chief guest.
This year's dialogue is taking place at a time when India is presiding over the G-20. In this context, this time's Raisina Dialogue is considered very important. Representatives of more than a hundred countries will participate in the Raisina Dialogue 2023. This year's theme is a provocation, uncertainty, crisis and storm.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs, representatives of more than a hundred countries will participate in the Raisina Dialogue 2023. These include ministers, former heads of state and government, military commanders, captains of industry, technology leaders, strategic affairs experts, academics, journalists, and strategic affairs experts.
It is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation. In the last eight years, the influence of the Raisina Dialogue has been continuously increasing in different areas. Also, this event has been recognized internationally as a Major Global Conference.
There is a platform of people from different countries of the world where the Raisina Dialogue was started with the aim of having a meaningful discussion on the global situation and challenges. Representatives of more than 100 countries take part in it. The Raisina Dialogue was started by the central government in 2016. Since then, every year the number of countries and people participating in this program is increasing. It is India's premier conference on Geopolitics and Geo-economics. It is organized by the Ministry of External Affairs in collaboration with the Observer Research Foundation.
Last year, more than 210 delegates from 90 countries participated in the Raisina Dialogue 2022. A program of young comrades of Raisina was also organized during about 100 sessions. There, in 2021 it was organized virtually due to Corona.
