4 Nation Series: Indian Junior Men's Team defeated Australia in a one-sided match

Indian Junior Men's Hockey Team emerged victorious 3-1 against Australia in their second encounter at the 4-Nation Tournament at the Blau Weiss Stadium, Berlin. Shardanand Tiwari netted for India during the 15th minute, Saurabh Anand Kushwaha during the 36th minute, and Aamir Ali during the 43rd minute. Oliver Will scored the only goal for Australia during the 55th minute. India started the match strongly and in the 15th minute, Shardanand Tiwari gave his team the lead by converting a penalty corner into a goal. Both teams fought for the rest of the first half, but neither team could break the deadlock again, and India reached the second half with a slight lead.
India maintained their momentum by scoring two consecutive goals in the third quarter. In the 36th minute, Saurabh Anand Kushwaha scored a crucial field goal past the Australian goalkeeper to further consolidate India's lead. Moments later, in the 43rd minute, Aamir Ali scored another field goal for the winning team to bring India closer to victory. In the final quarter of the match, Australia also managed to score thanks to Oliver Will's field goal with five minutes remaining, but they failed to score two more goals, and India won the match.
The tournament has a round-robin format, with the four participating teams – India, Germany, Australia and Spain – facing each other once in the pool stage. The top two teams at the end of the group matches will qualify for the final, while the remaining teams will participate in the playoff for the third/fourth place. India will next take on Spain at the same venue on June 24.
