2 thousand kg of cocaine found floating in the sea of Italy

2,000 kg of cocaine has been found floating near Italy's Sicily Coast. According to reports, it was sealed in 70 waterproof packets and thrown into the Mediterranean Sea. Who came swimming toward Italy?
The cost of this cocaine is more than 3 thousand crore rupees. According to the Italian police, this is the biggest cache of drugs ever seized by the Customs Department.
Italy's Maritime Surveillance Aircraft caught sight of a cache of 2,000 kg of cocaine floating on the Sicilian coast. After which he alerted the police. 70 packets were seized by the Customs Department of Italy. When the packets were opened by bringing them on the ground, cocaine came out in them.
According to customs officials, the packets of cocaine were dumped and wrapped in a fishing net. A luminous tracking device was also attached to it so that it could be recovered later. According to officials, it was thrown from the cargo ship to hide it. Smugglers hoped that they would find it later and supply it at the designated place.
Cocaine being seized from the sea like this is not a new thing. Earlier in February, New Zealand had recovered 3500 kg of cocaine from the Pacific Ocean. Its cost was 4 thousand crore rupees. It was sealed in 81 packets of black and pink colour and thrown into the Pacific Ocean. Officials had told that the smugglers wanted to supply it in Australia.
