16-year-old killer in America confesses: 2 years ago, he stabbed his classmate 114 times, may face life imprisonment
A horrific murder that took place in Florida, USA in 2021 has once again come up for discussion. In fact, two years ago, 14-year-old Aidan Fucci was accused of murdering 13-year-old classmate Tristin Bailey. On Monday, Fusi confessed his crime in front of the court. An accused who has turned 16 can get life imprisonment.
Fucci killed Bailey on Mother's Day in May 2021 by stabbing her 114 times. The girl's body was found earlier that month in the woods in northeast Florida. Fusey was then arrested and charged with first-degree murder. At this time, investigators reported that Fussy had also told several friends that he planned to kill someone, although it was not clear that he was going to kill Bailey.
"All I want to say is that I am guilty, and I am sorry for Bailey's family and my family," Fucci said in a statement before the court on Tuesday. According to a New York Post report, Fucci cannot be given the death penalty because he was 14 at the time of the crime. However, he is being kept as an adult accused.
During the investigation, Fusi's friends said that a few months before the crime, Fusi had started fantasizing about violence and murder. He had the desire to commit murder. To accomplish this, he chose his classmate Bailey. Fusi used to draw mostly mutilated dead bodies in his drawings as well. He had also told his friends that voices were urging him to kill someone.
