With Forest Department's NOC, an aqueduct will be constructed on Chambal in PKC-ERCP to supply water to Bisalpur and Isarda
Rajasthan: Through aqueduct, water from Ramgarh (Kool River), Mahalpur (Parvati River) and Navnera (Kalisindh River) barrage will be poured into Mej Barrage crossing Chambal River and can be taken to Bisalpur and Isarda Dam through lift.

Another major job is to be undertaken in the link of the rivers project in Rajasthan. Under the PKC-ERCP project, now an aqueduct will be built over the Chambal River. For this, with the approval of the National Wildlife Board (NBWL), final approval has been given by the Chief Wildlife Warden.
The Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, stated that water from Ramgarh (Kool River), Mahalpur (Parvati River), and Navnera (Kalisindh River) barrage will be filled through this aqueduct and can be transported to Bisalpur and Isarda Dam via a lift crossing over the Chambal River. One end of this 2280-meter-long aqueduct will be joined to the Pipalda Samel village of Kota and the other end to the village of Guhata in Bundi. The people of the Sultanpur tehsil of Kota will also get an alternate route through a metalled road from the Kota-Sahawi Madhopur road via Bundi. The process of construction of the feeder from Navnera Barrage to Mej Anicut will gain speed in the project along with this.
It is worth mentioning that under the first phase of this project, which provides water for drinking and irrigation to 17 districts of the state, the implementation of the scheme has been started by issuing work orders worth Rs 9400 crore. In this phase, an aqueduct is being constructed on the Chambal River under Package 2.
It is noteworthy that in order to speed up the work of the ERCP project (Ramjal Setu Link Project) in the state, approval has been given to allot 1102.72 hectares of land to the Forest Department in Baran and Alwar districts under forest land reversion.
