West Indies team announced for the ODI series against England; Batsman Shimron Hetmyer return
WI vs ENG ODI Series, WI vs ENG: West Indies have announced their 15-man squad for the upcoming ODI series against England. Shimron Hetmyer has returned to the Windies team, who last played in December last year.
West Indies have announced a 15-man squad for the upcoming ODI series against England. The first of this three-match ODI series starts in Antigua on Thursday 31st October, with the last match playing in Barbados on 6 November. Shimron Hetmyer, who has not played since December last year appears again in the Windies team replacing Alick Athanaze as in the only change to the team that recently toured Sri Lanka.
West Indies head coach Darren Sammy said about the upcoming matches, "Playing against England is always a new challenge and an opportunity to revive a rivalry which the players are excited about, so, too, are the Caribbean people." After the ODI series, West Indies will take on England in a five-match T20 series starting from November 9, for which the squad is yet to be named.
