The current geopolitical tension in West Asia is having an effect on business as well. In line with a survey, 63 percent of the respondents showed that their organizations have now put new recruitments on hold, and the team strength is being reduced too. This finding has emerged from the survey done by the human resource service provider Genius Consultants. The survey showed that 15 percent of the companies have gone for contract-based and freelancing jobs due to the escalation of geopolitical pressure.

This report is based on an online survey conducted among 2006 employees working in different areas of the country from May 12 to June. The report said that 36 percent of the employees said that their salary hikes and bonuses have also been affected due to stress. 21 percent of the people said that work pressure has also increased. 22 percent of the employees surveyed admitted that their international exposure has been affected due to the war situation, and they are not able to go out of the country. 21 percent of the employees said that the morale and confidence of their team are also decreasing.

According to the report, 30 percent of the employees expressed concern about their jobs, while 26 percent said that they are keeping a close eye on the situation. 31 percent of the employees surveyed said that they have started looking for new jobs and opportunities. R P Yadav, Chairman and Managing Director of Genius Consultants said, 'This survey reflects our current times. Where the outside world is changing, the internal work realities change much faster. It is clear that we are not just going through a moment, but we are entering a new era of work.' “Employers must remain transparent, while employees must remain flexible and prepared for the road ahead,” he said.
