Rajasthan: The wall of a house collapsed in Bhiwadi of Khairthal Tijara district. 21-year-old Sumaiya and her one-year-old daughter died in this accident. The woman's husband is also injured and has been admitted to the hospital.

Their lives were brought to a halt by a fierce storm and rain in large parts of Rajasthan. Sumaiya, a 21-year-old woman, along with her one-year-old daughter, lost their lives due to a wall collapse at a house in Bhiwadi in Khairthal Tijara's area. The woman's husband was also grievously hurt in the mishap and was admitted to the hospital.

Several electricity poles and trees collapsed because of the storm in Bikaner, Sikar and Jhunjhunu. Power supply was cut in these regions because of this. A large electricity tower also collapsed because of the storm in Sikar. Because of the storm, large hoardings also collapsed onto power wires, because of which power was disconnected in a large number of locations. But the power supply was resumed in a few places.

A lot of dust flew in Barmer and Jaisalmer because of a strong storm. This created visibility problems. Power went out in numerous locations because of rain and strong winds in Jhunjhunu. Ganganagar and Hanumangarh were also affected by bad weather. It rained in Jaisalmer and part of Jodhpur.

Nohar in Hanumangarh received the highest rainfall of 53 mm. Pilani in Jhunjhunu received 49.8 mm, Sikar 38 mm, and Tijara 35 mm of rain. On Saturday, the highest temperature in Barmer was 47.6 degrees Celsius, which was 5.3 degrees more than normal. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for Monday. There is a red alert for Jaisalmer, Barmer, and Bikaner, where there will be extreme heat. An orange alert has been issued for Jodhpur and a yellow alert for Nagaur, Pali, Jalore, Bhilwara, and Chittorgarh.
