It is raining heavily in some areas of the capital Delhi. The G-20 summit meeting was followed by dinner at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. During this time, light rain was seen in some areas of Delhi. At the same time, the weather patterns have suddenly changed in some areas of Noida and Ghaziabad.

After a fortnight, it rained in many areas of the capital on Saturday. This is the first rain of this month. Due to this, the temperature came down to normal. Hence the weather in Delhi became pleasant during the G20 summit.

Pollution levels also improved due to rain and wind blowing at a speed of about 28 kilometers per hour. Because of this, the air quality on Saturday was the cleanest not only this year but in the last 11 months.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality will remain in the satisfactory category for the next three days. At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, there will be light rain in many areas of Delhi on Sunday and Monday and the weather will remain pleasant.

According to the Meteorological Department, 9.7 mm of rainfall occurred in Delhi between 2.30 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. During this period, maximum rainfall was recorded at 20.5 mm in Mayur Vihar, 15.4 mm in Ridge area, 14 mm in Delhi University, 12.2 mm in Palam, 9.5 mm in Jafarpur, nine mm in Lodhi Road, and eight mm in Pusa.

Even after 8:30 in the morning, there was light rain in some areas of Delhi. During this period, 1.6 mm of rainfall was recorded in the Safdarjung area, 2.8 mm in Aya Nagar, and 1.2 mm in Lodhi Road. The maximum temperature in Delhi was 32 degrees Celsius, which is one degree Celsius less than normal.

The minimum temperature recorded was 23.2 Celsius which is two degrees Celsius less than normal. On September 8, the maximum temperature was recorded at 36.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 26.4 degrees Celsius. In comparison, the temperature dropped by about four and a half degrees Celsius.
