Vivo's first mixed reality headset launching on August 21, will have a design like Apple Vision Pro
Vivo is going to launch its first mixed reality headset Vivo Vision in China this month. This device was first shown in March 2025 and its design is very similar to Apple Vision Pro. It will have a lightweight and comfortable design, advanced gesture control and multi-dimensional immersion experience. The launch will be on August 21 but its sale will not start this year.
Vivo Vision will launch in China this month, the company announced on Tuesday. The mixed reality headset was first showcased in March at the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025. Its design resembles the Apple Vision Pro, featuring a large visor at the front and a thick headband at the back. The product will not be available for sale this year, but Vivo has confirmed that it will set up experience zones at offline centers for people to try it.
In a post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, Vivo stated that the Vision mixed reality headset will launch on August 21 at 2:30 pm (12 noon IST). The launch will coincide with the company's annual Imaging Festival, which is happening on the same day.
The social media post teased that Vivo Vision will feature a 'breakthrough' ultra-lightweight design and offer a 'multi-dimensional immersion' experience.
