Apple very recently provided the update of iOS 18, but this update has become a problem for the users. After this update, the users of two models in the iPhone 16 series, namely iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, are upset. Apple had said that after this update of iOS 18, the battery life will be better than ever, but the opposite is happening. Battery drain has started very fast with the updated iOS 18 concerning iPhone 16 and Pro models.

The number in thousands of complainants have taken to Apple's forum and sub-Reddit, saying that since the iOS 18 update, their iPhone 16 devices had a fast battery drain. It was initially seen during the beta phase itself but remains there in the final release also.

Users complained that their iPhones were dying fast, even with low usage or on standby. One Reddit user wrote that the battery dropped to 68% even after listening to music for 2.5 hours and screen time was less than 45 minutes. Another said, "Compared to the iPhone 14, which had 78% battery left, my iPhone 16 dropped to 45% on normal use."
