Today is Samsung's mega event, Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be launched; Know what will be special
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event 2025: Samsung is going to have a mega event today in which the Galaxy S25 series will be launched. Apart from four new phones under this series, products like Galaxy Watch, and Galaxy Buds can be launched.

Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event is scheduled to take place in San Jose, California, today i.e. on 22 January 2025. It is Samsung's first big launch event of the year during which the Galaxy S25 series smartphones are going to be announced. This series is going to be an upgrade to the Galaxy S24 series, which was launched last year and launched on 17 January 2024. The pre-reservation process for these devices has already begun in India.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will commence at 11:30 pm Indian time, which translates to 1.00 PM EST. The event will be live-streamed on Samsung Newsroom, social media channels, and the brand's YouTube channel.
The biggest highlight of today's event will be the announcement of the Galaxy S25 series. As before, this flagship lineup will include three devices including Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
All the models will get Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and 12GB RAM. Other than that, Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen will be provided in every variant. Speaking of the battery, the Galaxy S25 might receive 4000mAh, the Galaxy S25+ can receive 4900mAh, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra can receive 5000mAh.
The design for Galaxy S25 Ultra will, therefore, differ significantly. In this case, the model should be provided with a more rounded design instead of the boxy design of its predecessor. As for Galaxy S25 and S25+, the new design is believed to be identical to the older one.
The company can also present a teaser or prototype of its first XR headset. It has been named Project Moohan and has been developed in collaboration with Google and Qualcomm. This headset will work on the Android XR platform. It will have Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based features.
