Satya Nadella, the CEO of Microsoft, stated on Thursday that India is developing at an amazing rate and that the country is friendly to developers. Nadella was discussing the necessity of transforming industries like education and healthcare through artificial intelligence (AI). He also discussed recent developments about the Copilot AI assistant.

Additionally, he declared that the "Code Without Barriers" programme would now be expanded to India. By 2024, according to Nadella, this will assist 75,000 women developers. He claimed that India is a nation full of developers and that the country is developing at an amazing rate.

The Microsoft CEO also discussed AI security, creating revolutionary AI solutions with Microsoft Azure, and increasing business productivity with "Microsoft Copilot." He expressed his excitement at the sight of fresh, creative startups in India. India is predicted to become the largest developer community, surpassing that of the US.

He said India is expected to overtake the US as the largest developer community on GitHub by 2027. GitHub is a web-based service that provides the facility to keep the code etc. of software projects.

He said, 'Today India is second after America in terms of total number of developers on GitHub. I believe that by the year 2027 or 2028, it will become number one. With this, India will be the country with the largest number of developers.

Nadella said that it is wonderful to see that the people of this country have really embraced this new platform and effectively led the changes associated with the new platform.
