WhatsApp Introduces AI-Powered Status Images: Create Pictures Just by Typing Text

WhatsApp has come up with a new feature that will make the use of the app even more interesting. Users can now create images for their status via AI. The company clarified that the feature is powered by Meta's next-generation generative AI technology and enables you to create images by just entering text. That is, you no longer have to click or download a picture for your status; instead, just type in a description (prompt) of the image you wish to have, and the AI will design it for you within seconds. It is also very simple to use this feature.

Users must first open WhatsApp and head over to the Updates tab. Then, there will be the new AI Images feature on the status screen. After tapping on it, a text box will open, where the user must type in a prompt for their desired image. For example, "a couple sitting on a beach at sunset" or "a rocket flying in the night sky." Meta AI will then generate several images based on the prompt. The user can choose any of these images or create an edited image by entering a new prompt.

Once the image is ready, the user can customize it to their liking. They will have the option to add captions, stickers, or text. Finally, tapping "Send" will upload the image to your WhatsApp status, which will be visible to your contacts.
