OnePlus Nord 6 Launched in India with 9,000mAh Battery, Snapdragon 8s Gen 4
The OnePlus Nord 6 has been launched in India. This phone features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a 9,000mAh battery, and 80W wired fast charging support.
OnePlus has launched the OnePlus Nord 6 smartphone in India on Tuesday. The new OnePlus Nord 6 device comes with many improvements over its predecessor, such as a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, improved RAM, and expanded internal storage. It features a 6.78 inches AMOLED display with up to 165 Hz maximum refresh rate. Its battery capacity is 9000 mAh, which is higher than the Nord 5’s 6800 mAh. Furthermore, it has 80W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging support. Moreover, the OnePlus Nord 6 offers IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance ratings.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is priced at ₹38,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model. The 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage variant is priced at ₹41,999. It will be available in Fresh Mint, Pitch Black, and Quick Silver color options starting April 9 at 12 noon.
Customers can avail a discount of ₹2,000 on Axis Bank credit cards (on full payment) and ₹3,000 on Axis Bank and HDFC Bank credit cards (on EMI transactions). After this discount, the price of the 8GB and 12GB variants will be reduced to ₹35,999 and ₹38,999, respectively.

OnePlus Nord 6 is a dual SIM (Nano + Nano) device with OxygenOS 16 powered by Android 16. The phone will receive four OS updates and six years of monthly security patches. It comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has a 165Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution (1,272 x 2,772). Additionally, the display offers 450 ppi, a screen-to-body ratio of 93.5%, and is covered with Crystal Guard. PWM is dimming with 3840 Hz, and the peak brightness is about 3600 nits.
OnePlus Nord 6 comes with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip coupled with an Adreno 825 GPU. The device can come with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage space. The phone has a heat dissipation area of 33,147mm² for thermal management.
For photography, the OnePlus Nord 6 features a dual rear camera setup. The main camera is a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 CMOS sensor with features like optical image stabilization (OIS), electronic image stabilization (EIS), f/1.8 aperture, and PDAF. This camera unit also includes an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08F ultra-wide camera with a field of view of 112 degrees.
The OnePlus Nord 6 features a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It features dual stereo speakers with OReality Audio. The handset also features a 'Plus Key', which you can use to save any content on the screen to 'Mind Space'.
The OnePlus Nord 6 features Bluetooth 6, 5G, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, QZSS, NavIC, Wi-Fi, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. Sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, six-axis gyroscope, color temperature sensor, proximity sensor, and X-axis linear motor. It boasts MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The OnePlus Nord 6 is rated IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K for dust and water resistance. It packs a 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging, 27W wired reverse charging, and bypass charging. Its dimensions are 162.5x77.5x8.5mm and it weighs 217g.
