Music streaming platform Spotify recently faced server problems that caused problems for many users. According to DownDetector, complaints increased after 545 pm IST. Spotify updated on X that the problem has been fixed. Users are advised to check the company's social media channels for further updates.

Spotify, the world's biggest music streaming service, experienced a new server glitch, leaving thousands of users unable to access the service on Tuesday night. DownDetector.com, a website that monitors outages, recorded the complaints shot up after 5:45 pm IST. There were over 160 complaints from India, while there were over 17,000 complaints registered by users in the United States.
This is the most recent service disruption for Spotify over the past few weeks. The company experienced multiple outages during April and also had an issue a few weeks earlier. According to Spotify Status, the company's official outage update account on X.
According to the report, 94 percent of users in the US had problems with the Spotify app, four percent were facing problems on the website and one percent were having trouble with the search function. Users are advised to check Spotify's social media channels and DownDetector for live updates of the service status in case of problems.
At present, the company has updated on X regarding the service and wrote, 'We are aware of some recent problems which should now be fully fixed! Thank you for your patience.' Along with this, the company has also written that, if you still need help, then go to the community http://community.spotify.com or contact http://support.spotify.com.
Last month, this streaming company faced a similar service interruption, which affected millions of users worldwide. According to DownDetector.com, complaints of outages started pouring in after 6:15 pm IST, peaking at over 47,000 by 7:02 pm IST.
Annoyed users took to social media to express their anguish and seek updates, with many reporting repeated access issues since the past month. Some X-posts also went viral.
