Even after the show's end, Shahnaz had expressed her feelings for Siddharth on several occasions. However, both of them never spoke openly about their relationship. Even at the time of Siddharth's death, Shahnaz was with him in his house. Siddharth breathed his last in Shehnaaz's lap.
