There is a warning of a further increase in the effect of cold in Rajasthan in the next 24 hours. The Meteorological Department has predicted that the mercury may drop by 2 to 4 degrees in the state. At the same time, a warning of Mawth has been issued in many districts of the state on January 10 and 11.

Talking about the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature in Rajasthan was seen in Dungarpur at 25.6 degrees, while the lowest minimum temperature was supposed to be in Jaisalmer. The minimum temperature here was recorded at 6.1 degrees. The lowest minimum temperature in the entire state was supposed to be between 13 degrees and 6 degrees. Humidity was in a range of 30 to 90 percent, on average. Several districts of the state have been warned today of a cold wave. During day time also a cold wave was issued in the cities of Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Jhunjhunu.

Due to the effect of the cold wave in the state, holidays in schools have been extended. Different orders have been issued at the level of district collectors. Winter holidays have been extended for 2 days in the capital Jaipur.
