The minimum temperature here was recorded at 6.1 degrees. The lowest minimum temperature in the entire state was supposed to be between 13 degrees and 6 degrees. Humidity was in a range of 30 to 90 percent, on average. Several districts of the state have been warned today of a cold wave. During day time also a cold wave was issued in the cities of Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, and Jhunjhunu.
Due to the effect of the cold wave in the state, holidays in schools have been extended. Different orders have been issued at the level of district collectors. Winter holidays have been extended for 2 days in the capital Jaipur.
