State Bank of India appointed Charanjit Singh Attra as its CFO with effect from 01 October 2020 after which Charanjit Singh Attra tendered his resignation on 30th June after three years.

According to the data released by SBI in May, the bank earned a net profit of 83 percent in the last quarter of FY23.
SBI's net profit increased by 83 percent to Rs 16,694.51 crore from Rs 9,113 crore in the same quarter of FY 2021-22.
