Sandeep Choudhary’s Green Mission Sets Guinness Record
From rural roots to a global green icon, Sandeep Choudhary leads a 3,000 crore tree campaign across India.

Born in the humble village of Guda Godji in Rajasthan, Sandeep Choudhary's inspiring journey from financial hardship to becoming a global environmental icon is nothing short of remarkable. Raised in a modest farmer family, he now spearheads a global tree-planting initiative aiming to transform the planet.
Back in 2007, Sandeep was running a small digital startup from a compact office in Jaipur’s City Center, relying on PayPal for international client payments. Disaster struck when PayPal unexpectedly blocked a large payment, collapsing his venture overnight and forcing him to vacate his office.
By 2008, circumstances worsened. He was forced to shift into a modest rented room in Civil Lines, burdened by growing familial pressure. “If you can’t support the household, return to the village, learn tailoring, and stop chasing dreams,” his father advised.
In those dark days, a small check from Google AdSense arrived — not a large amount, but enough to reignite hope. “PayPal dropped me, Google picked me up,” Sandeep recalls.
