Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 official teaser released, will be launched on this day

Royal Enfield is preparing to launch the all-new Himalayan 450 in the Indian market. The company can launch it by the end of the year. The official teaser of the Himalayan 450 has been unveiled. The company had confirmed sometime back that there would be several new motorcycle launches from the brand in the current financial year. Come, let us know what is going to be special in this brand new 450 cc bike of RE.

The design of the new Himalayan 450, which has been spied testing several times on Indian and foreign roads, is similar to the current generation Himalayan. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will feature a large windscreen and a beak-shaped front mudguard, as can be clearly seen in the teaser video. In terms of features, the motorcycle will come equipped with all-LED lighting, a USD fork, and a new single-pod instrument cluster.

The RE Himalayan 450 will be powered by a 450 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Royal Enfield has not revealed the output figures of the upcoming motorcycle. However, we can expect it to generate around 40-45 HP of power and 40 Nm of torque. It will get a tuned engine for better off-roading and will be mated to a six-speed gearbox.

In terms of pricing, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is expected to be costlier than the current generation Himalayan 411, which is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (ex-showroom). We expect the upcoming Himalayan 450 to be priced around Rs.2.50 lakh, ex-showroom. However, the company has not yet given any official information regarding this.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is likely to be launched in India within the next three months and it could be followed by a neo-retro roadster in early 2024.
