Women will get 33 percent reservation in Rajasthan Police recruitment, these will also get 2% reservation
The Rajasthan Cabinet on Wednesday decided to give 33 percent reservation to women in Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services. An official said that the Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services Rules 1989 have been amended to pave the way for implementing the reservation. He said that outstanding players will get 2 percent reservation in the recruitments conducted by Rajasthan Language and Library and Rajasthan Excise Laboratory departments.
The Bhajanlal Sharma government of Rajasthan has decided to give women a 33 percent reservation in police department recruitment. The Rajasthan Police Subordinate Services Rules of 1989 have been amended to reflect this.
Regarding the decisions made at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel told the media that outstanding players will be given a two percent reservation in the recruitments of Rajasthan Language and Library and Rajasthan Excise Laboratory.
The government issued a notification on 21 November 2019 clarifying the definition of players, but at that time these two departments were left. No decision on cancellation of SI recruitment exam - No decision was taken in the cabinet on the cancellation of the Sub Inspector (SI) Recruitment Examination-2021.
