Monsoon is going to be strongly active in Rajasthan for the next 2 weeks. The Meteorological Department says that during the next 2 weeks, most parts of eastern Rajasthan will receive above-average rainfall. At the same time, there will be heavy rain in western Rajasthan for the next one week. On Friday, 13 districts, including Bikaner and Jhunjhunu, received up to 4 inches of rain. A young man died due to drowning in the Parvati River in Dholpur.
The Jaipur Meteorological Center has warned of heavy rain in the state today, Saturday, as well. IMD has issued an immediate warning this morning and predicted heavy rain in Ajmer, Alwar, Beawar, Dudu, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, and Kekri. At the same time, an orange alert has also been issued in Baran, Jhalawar, and Kota. In the air test conducted on Thursday at Samrat Yantra situated at Jantar Mantar in Jaipur, astrologers have also predicted very good rains within a radius of 100 km in Jaipur.
