Sirohi News: Rainfall in many parts of the district including Abu Road in the last 24 hours has given relief to people troubled by humidity and heat. Meanwhile, while crossing the culvert in Bawali village, a car got washed away in the flow of water, which was pulled out with the help of villagers.

Due to continuous heavy and moderate rains across the district, water has started flowing in the rivers and streams. Many rivers and streams are flowing at full speed. On Sunday, a car suddenly broke down while crossing the culvert in Bawali village. Before the car could be repaired and crossed the culvert, there was a sudden strong current, causing the car to start floating.

The villagers present nearby took out the driver and the car safely with the help of a rope, due to which there was no damage of any kind. Similarly, in another case, a camper got stuck in the strong flow of water on a kutcha road near an under-construction culvert in Nayakheda of Paldiem police station area. It could also be pulled out after a lot of effort. In the last 24 hours, Abu Road received the highest rainfall of 59 mm and Pindwara received the lowest rainfall of 11 mm. While 52 mm rain was recorded in Revdar, 47 mm in Sirohi, 45 mm in Deldar, 29 mm in Mount Abu and 11 mm in Pindwara. People have got slight relief from heat and humidity due to the rain.
