Rajasthan Sizzles as Pre-Season Heat Pushes Temperatures to 35°C
Rajasthan Heat Wave Alert: Pre-season heat has increased in Rajasthan. Temperatures in Fatehpur and Barmer exceeded 35 degrees Celsius, with temperatures 6 degrees above normal in many cities. The Meteorological Department has predicted a heat wave and further increase in temperatures from the third week of March.
Pre-season heat has started in Rajasthan, and people are already experiencing the effects of the heat. On Saturday, clear skies and sunny weather were observed in most cities of the state. After Barmer, Fatehpur was the hottest city, with a temperature of around 35 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature in Sriganganagar, Pilani, and Bikaner is 6 degrees higher than normal. According to the Meteorological Center in Jaipur, there won’t be much change in the weather of the state for the next two days. However, the temperature is expected to go up by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the Holi and Dhulandi areas.
The weather in Sikar was clear on Saturday morning. Weather experts predict dry conditions for the next three to four days. The highest temperature in the last 24 hours was recorded in Fatehpur in Sikar district, where the maximum temperature was 35.3 degrees Celsius, while Barmer reached 35 degrees Celsius. In the afternoon, some areas of Churu, Jaipur, and Alwar remained lightly cloudy, with a slight humidity.

The capital, Jaipur, Barmer, and Phalodi, experienced mild heat even at night. The minimum temperature in these cities was recorded above 20 degrees Celsius. Phalodi recorded a minimum temperature of 21.2 degrees Celsius, Barmer 21.4 degrees Celsius, and Jaipur 20 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department's forecast, the heat is expected to remain intense in March. It is expected that heatwave conditions may develop in many cities from the third week of March. Temperatures in most cities are expected to range between 31 and 37 degrees Celsius in the first week of March itself.
