Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 26th National Youth Festival today in Hubli, Karnataka. This program to be held on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary will run from January 12-16. In this, 30 thousand youth from different states of the country will participate. The theme of the program has been 'Developed Youth - Developed India'.
National Youth Festival is held on 26 January every year for the last 26 years. This happens in different states of the country. Last time this program was organized in Puducherry, whose theme was 'Empowered Youth - Empowered Youth'.
According to the officials organizing it, the objective of this festival is to increase the role of youth in the building of the country and to bring forward talented youth at the national level. He said that it brings the diverse cultures of the country on a single platform. Also, all the delegates unite in the spirit of 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.
PM Modi will share his vision with the youth at the inauguration ceremony. More than 30,000 youth from across the country will participate in the five-day programme. Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said that youth representatives from 28 states and 8 union territories will participate in the National Youth Festival to showcase their talent. He told that for the first time, the National Youth Festival is being organized in North Karnataka.
